How much would you charge to administer a test?
My friend is a certified teacher, on break for the summer. She is administering an examination for two home-schooled children. (they are not siblings, both families live in her neighborhood). We have been looking for the going rate to charge to administer the test. She is giving the test over three days to 5th grade students and doing it for 3 hours each day. What would be a good and fair price to charge each family for administering the tests?

It really, really depends on where you live. I’ve moved around a lot and been in quite a number of private schools as well as taken numerous of tests so it is quite prevalent to me that the price rises and plummets depending on your location. I say since they’re both going to take the test you should charge a lower price. After all, you’re only printing out the test once (technically) not twice because they’re not separate. Oh, I just remembered, when I was younger I remember my parents complaining about me not liking a school after taking the exam and they’d already paid $68 but that was just the private school in my area, so I’m pretty sure the price should be lower on a per-person basis since 1- You aren’t a private school and 2- Less people require less supervision and 3- Less professionalism involved (although the level of expertise could be equal homeschooling has less credibility, as unfortunate and unjustified as this may seem).
